DUE TO COVID RESTRICITIONS OUR ANIMAL NURSERY & HORSEDRAWN MUSEUM IS CURRENTLY CLOSED. WE DO HOWEVER HAVE THE ANIMAL WALK WITH FEED BAGS.
Meet Rodney the Longhorn steer, Wilson the Emu, Pluto & Goofy the Water Buffalo, Mario the Mini Pony, Memphis the Llama, Curly & Mo the Alpacas as well as an assortment of Sheep, Goats, Lambs, Kids & even the occasional foal.
Horse Drawn Museum
Enjoy a guided tour through some early Australian memorabilia. View items such as the Apple Cart originally used in Harcourt. 100 year old bales of hay that are held together with wire instead of twine. View a side saddle and wonder at how the ladies stayed on jumping over hunting panels!!!
Our bigger animals are also available to be viewed in this area. Punkin the Donkey, one of our calves & our friendly goats. You can also take a walk through the Frisbee Golf area and see Wilson the Emu.
Mobile Animal Nursery & Pony Rides
Billabong Ranch also has a fantastic Mobile Animal Nursery. A wonderful addition to any Christmas Party, Fete in fact any event that involves children. The animals can also be used for TV Commercials, Television Series and Movie Work. The larger animals roam around while the smaller animals are presented to the children to hold & pet by one of Billabong’s Animal Nursery staff. The enclosure is adjustable & therefore can be made to fit most areas. Ponies of varying sizes are also available for pony rides.
